Proaltus Capital Partners is a company founded in 2012 in Madrid, Spain.
Leveraging the network of suppliers and their alliances, in 2015 Proaltus positions itself as a Multi-Family Office, offering wealth management services with access to global investment opportunities. In 2016 it opens offices in Miami FL, under Proaltus USA Inc.
Proaltus has managed to establish close relationships with nearly 100 institutional and niche managers in all types of investments. Its main clients are Latin American, American, and European families.

CEO & FOUNDING PARTNER
Mr. Benitez has more than 25 years of business experience in finance, as well as in the management and selection of alternative investments. He founded the Fidelis International Institute and has worked at Cemex, Boston Consulting Group, and Violy & Company. He is a Public Accountant from ITESM (Mexico) and holds an MBA from Stanford University. He currently participates in multiple Boards in Mexico and Spain.
Jose María Carbajo
*MANAGING PARTNER
Mr. Carbajo was Managing Partner at ETS Asset Management Factory, where he has led the business development and product teams for more than 15 years, in Madrid and London. His extensive experience in the financial asset and wealth management space stems from his previous role at Deutsche Bank. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from UCM (Spain) and a PDD from IESE (Spain).
Alberto Milagro

Mr. Milagro has more than 15 years of experience in private banking, asset management, and financial consulting. He has worked at Capgemini Consulting, Axis Corporate, and Banco Espirito Santo. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from UCM (Spain) and an MBA from IE Business School (Spain).

Mr. Knox is an experienced CEO, Board Member and Advisor in the U.S., South East Asia, Europe and the Middle East, with a consistent track record of success in investment management, fund raising, joint ventures, corporate advice, capital markets, regulatory relations and managing financial service businesses.

Mrs. Medina has 12 years of experience in Administration, Accounting and Treasury. She worked at CFE Mexico before joining Proaltus. She is a Public Accountant from ITESM (Mexico), holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Francisco de Vitoria University (Spain), as well as an MBA from ITESM (Mexico).
Ana Paula Herrera

Ms. Herrera has more than 10 years of experience in different areas of design including architecture, interior design and graphic design. She previously owned a multidisciplinary design studio in Mexico, where she worked on developing and positioning brands. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from ITESM (Mexico) and an MBA from IE Business School (Spain) with a specialization in Marketing.
Kateryna Stetska

Ms. Stetska has 6 years of experience in the asset management, legal and financial sector. She holds double degree in Business Administration and Law from the University of Granada (Spain), as well as a Master’s degree in Law of Banking, Markets, and Financial Institutions from CUNEF (Spain). She previously worked at the European Venture Philanthropy Association and at the European Parliament in Brussels.
Armando Badillo

Mr. Badillo has a background spanning consulting, asset management, and VC/PE investing. With 2 years in consulting, he led projects across food, energy, and real estate. He brings 4 years of expertise in asset management and VC/PE, mastering investment analysis and portfolio management. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from ITESM (Mexico) and an Operations certificate from UBC (Canada).

Ms. Vazquez has a Bachelor's degree in International Business with a minor in International Logistics from ITESM (Mexico), coupled with an MBA from IE Business School (Spain). She has over 7 years of experience leading new projects in human resources, operations, and continuous improvement, primarily in the B2B automotive industry in Mexico.

Ms. Pando has more than 4 years of experience in Capital Markets as Private Banking Market Advisor at Credicorp Capital Bolsa in Perú. She previously worked at the FX department at Banco de Crédito del Perú. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Lima and she is currently studying a Master's degree in Stock and Financial Markets at the IEB (Spain).

Ms. Fonzalida holds a Bachelor of Business Administration. She has experience in accounting, auditing, administration, and treasury in both the public and private sectors in Argentina prior to joining Proaltus. She is currently doing an MBA and Management at EUDE Business School (Spain).

Mr. Florido has more than 10 years of success in building national and international public-private partnerships in areas such as economic development, tourism, governance and leadership. He has deep knowledge of the MENA and southern European regions, where he has worked as an advisor to different ministers. He has a double degree between the University of Granada and Sciences Po Bordeaux in Political Sciences, and a Master in International Relations from Sciences Po Bordeaux and Ritsumeikan University (Japan).

Ms. Shabanova has more than 20 years of experience in wealth management. She worked at Citibank prior to joining Proaltus, where she managed over 5 billion USD in assets. She holds an Ms in Financial Management from Odessa Polytechnic University and has executive studies from Harvard University.

Mr. Ortega led our Alternative Investments Division for 6 years and is currently Partner at Skypointer, a VC Fund that spun out of Proaltus. Mr. Ortega began his career in Investment Banking at Credicorp, where he spent 5 years focused on LatAm markets. Pablo holds an MBA from IE Business School (Spain) and holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia).

Mr. García has more than 25 years of experience in the financial sector focused on asset management. Before joining Proaltus, he was CIO in two Spanish insurance companies with AuM above $3bn, in liquid and alternative strategies, for 15 years. He has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Portfolio Management from the IEB (Spain) and a PDG from IESE (Spain).

Mr. Rengifo has 2 years of experience in investment banking. He has internship experience at Adcap Colombia and Arcano Group in Madrid. He holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus in finance from IE University.
